The Moment We've Been Waiting For

Rick pointed out that it was exactly 4 weeks since we last made tacos.*

I got a little misty-eyed when I clicked on the gas burner -- it was the first time I've cooked on a gas stove in nearly 4 years. Wow, cooking with gas is sooooo much easier than with electric. (Also, I had had about 9 hours of sleep in the preceding 60 hours; I'd like to think I wouldn't normally get weepy over appliances if I'd had less stress and more sleep.)

* Tacos are normally a Wednesday night meal, but we switched up with the remodel.
